This is where I'll be reviewing some movies and stuff. Most of it is probably going to be marvel related,so sit back wherever you are and enjoy!
Wow, this movie turned out really cookie cutter levels of boring. It kinda sucked, and it felt really bland. So pretty much, Dwayne Johnson is yet again invincible, and it turns out SOOOOO mediocre in terms of plot. Like seriously, how does an 11 year old manage to make an entire town fight skeletons? It doesn't make sense, and all the characters are about as flat as cardboard. I didn't like it, 3/10.
To be honest, I find this movie interesting. This film does not hold back with it's brutality at all. There's a scene of a girl being violated, and in the unrated version I got, this scene goes on for an extremely long time. 6 minutes. 6 minutes of pure filth. I honestly can handle gore and violence, but sexual violence in movies and tv is just too much for me. I had to fast foward through this scene. But don't you worry, the bad guys in the movie, in an exciting twist, actually get what's coming to them. The girl's parents embark on a tour of violence, blood and guts. Again, no punches are pulled in this. One of the people who helped the assault/murder take place, gets their hand stuck in a sink disposal and turns it on. Finally, I'd have to say that this movie is not for people who're sensitive to violence shown in media. I'd rate it a solid 6/10. It's good, but damn, do you sometimes wish it would. I might start reviewing more of these movies.
I honestly don't like this movie. I decided to watch this knowing it was probably bad, but it was even worse than I thought. For most of the movie, we really don't get to see the team's powers until about halfway during the movie. Now, that'd be somewhat watchable if that was my only gripe, but no. The movie is intensely boring, with not much happening during the whole movie up until the last 30 minutes or so, and even then it gets bad. For example, the main villain, Victor Von Doom is trapped on planet zero at the beginning, and isn't shown at all for most of the movie. He only shows up at 30 minutes before the movie ends. And god, the final fight (the only fight in the entire movie) is so bad. Von Doom dies like 10 minutes after the fight starts and the speech by reed is so bad, it's just something I didn't like. 3/10.
To be honest, it was fine. I really liked the scenes involving Gorr the God Butcher, and it makes me kinda sad that we didn't get to see a lot of Gorr, you know, killing gods. There was only the god he killed in the beginning, and from what I remember, that was the last kill that was shown on screen. The goats though, were at times funny, and at times annoying. The best scene where it adds some comedy is where Thor crashes into the planet in the shadow realm, and the goats scream loud. Overall, I wanna say it's a 7/10. Good action movie if you've got time to kill, I guess. I just would've liked to see more gods die in the movie, but oh well.
Overall, I am really amazed by this film. I find it really interesting that the movie started production about 30 years ago by Phil Tippett. However, I do have some concerns. There is no dialogue, and the plot is hard to follow. However, I see it as an experimental film, and the fact that it's so odd, so unusual, something I've never seen before, and I am intruigued by it. This peaked my interest into more extreme, experimental movies. I'm gonna give it an 8/10.
